how can i fix my r.d.s/eon radio?

we bought a radio from breackers to replase broken one , but when turned on radio comes on with a permanate beeping sound , is this any thing to do with a code needed

The radio you have is for either Peugeot or Citroen. The reason for the beeping is that radio needs to have the VIN no. of your car programmed into it. This can be done by main dealer or local radio decoder specialist.

It depends on the make/model/year of the car it might need to be re-coded to the cars chassis number with the correct diagnostic equipment, the beeping is part of the anti theft system
