I have a Hotpoint fridge/freezer RFA06. The drain in the fridge is not allowing the water to flow through and the water is coming out in the fridge itself. Using a thin cable I have found the drain is clear almost all the way then it seems to come into contact with a plastic panel.
It seems not to have drained for a while as the collector on top of the pump is bone dry.
How can I unblock the drain?

Use a pipe cleaner, better than a bit of wire as it collects all the gunge. The plastic panel you came into contact with was the collector on top of the compressor. I'd have thought you would have worked that one out youself, simples!
