OP the system can be reset but you will need the manual or a an engineer.

SD, I'd suggest that as you don't know how to operate this control panel you keep quiet, the WRONG information is worse than NO information.
Both your 'tips' are wrong, the default User code & how to reset this panel.

1st, never give them the master code, I always give them a 2nd code. usually open the unit, there will be a jumper to set, remove all power including battery, short jumper, restart, should be back to default, which is usually 1234
