My dishwasher is not washing properly; tablet not dissolving fully and leaving sludgy mess in dispenser and unclean dishes

check holes in spray arms aren't blocked with food
during the cycle check the water gets hot by opening the door
Set the spray arms to a know position and then shut the door and let the dishwasher run.now open the door and check the spray arms are in a different position.This checks the pump is building up pressure to rotate the spray arms
