After putting on white on number 3cyle the whites are coming out dirtier than they originally were. Small black marks and an almost dirt streak. I have tried a washing machine cleaner and a separate 90degree wash both empty. This has not made any difference

sounds like the bearing seals have started to perish.This will allow the grease/oil from the bearings into the drum and soiling the clothes.
