Neff built in oven. The heat wont turn down stuck on about 200 which burns a lot of the food. Is this the thermostat? Is it easy to replace? I look forward to your answer.Many Thanks.

the shaft from the knob to the selector/thermostat may be broken, take the top off the oven and when you turn the knob watch if the selector switch turns at the same rate, if not its damaged by being forced back beyond the off position and will require a replacement. if it looks ok the stat must be faulty, it just pulls off the back of the selector to remove
