My Fisher & Paykel Dw 920 is displaying F1 and beeping!?

The manual says F1 means it is flooded..I cannot see any water..I have switched it off at the power point ,as it won't stop beeping..Any ideas how to fix it PLEASE?

You may not see water coming out on to floor. It will be leaking inside onto the bottom floor tray. You have to take lower panel off below the door. Inside at front centre you will see the float switch. It is a brown plastic bracket holding a microswitch with a white polystyrene float under it. If that area is wet you need to dry it out completely which will reset the float switch and machine will then run. You then need to find where it is leaking from because it will just fill up again with water 1st time you use it. Make sure power is off at all times when you are working in that area.

suggest you replace flood swith sensor,look for a sensor close to or onto a shaft with a piece of polistierine attach to it that can move up or down.can try and test sensor if you can use a multimeter.open circuit if float goes up and close circuit when float is down.good luck
