I have just got a leak to,what i think is a water filter to the bottom of my washing machine.Initially I rotated it anti clockwise to clean it.Didn't realise you couldn't take it off so rotated it back to it's starting position.On putting on another wash,it has started to leak.Could this be fixed without any maintenance team coming out?

if its a filter cap it should come off to clean it. try takeing it off again , and put it back on tight this time,
