Miele pumps usually last years Mal, more likely to be piece of glass or china jamming impellor. I beleive you can reach the impellor from inside the machine look for a plastic cover in the base with steel wire clip over it pull clip back and remove cover to reveal pump impellor. That is if the pump is not running ,if it is running then could be blockage at sink connection. Cheers
