In my other 'answer' there is a typo. HCMPC should be HC MPC otherwise a google search will not find it!

. Locate an adapter for connecting a PATA HDD drive to a PC.

. Locate a PC and load HumaxRW on to it. See http://humaxdisk.wikispaces.com/HumaxRW

. Learn how to use the line commands of HumaxRW

. Locate a screwdriver and connect the hard disk inside the 9200T via the adapter to the PC

. Use HumaxRW in ‘recovery mode’ to extract the programmes to the PCs hard drive or to external storage.

. Put the 9200T back together again

. Play the recovered files (that end with a TS extension) on your PC using either HCMPC, VLC or some versions of WMP.

There is also a front end version of HumaxRW you could try but I do not know if it has the recovery option on show. If you are not familiar with line commands it may be worth trying it first. http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/9300-transfers.166/#post-3290

By the way the more you have used the 9200T for recording since the loss the less that you will be able to recover.
Also if you have reformatted the disk since the incident then you have now lost everything and HumaxRW will not be able recover any of it.
