My washing machine worked fine last night ... went to put a load on this morning and its completely dead. I changed the fuse and its still dead ... I checked the fuse i took out and its working fine ... does anyone have any idea???

if you have no indication at all to say power is getting to appliance first check the socket with some other appliance and see
if that one works, if ok problem is within washer, simplest diy check with machine plugged out is remove lid and examine the mains lead where its connected to the filter, you may have a burned connection here
