The 4 slot toaster will only engage to toast on one side i.e only 2 slots and the other lever will not engage at all I presume there is some form of cut out which prevents the elements heating up when the lever is no engaged.Cant find a simple way in to the mechanism withou removing outer casing and disconnecting all the wiring.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated
