Update on my question of pump operating when not calling for heat. The pump makes a noise while doing this but when CH is on and calling for heat it runs silently and properly. The pump seems to run continually while not calling for heat so I have taken to turning off the system. Also sometimes warning lights flash but when reset they tend to stop flashing and return to normal but only for a while.
Boiler is a Baxi Solo HE
