Zanussi Aquacycle 1400 stopped working mid cycle ?

Our Zanussi Aquacycle 1400 stopped working mid cycle with a strong electrical burning smell. I would presume this is from the circuit board but can't see anything obvious. Any suggestions please or do u think we should be running to the sales to grab a new machine? by the way, Happy New Year!

difficult to answer but could be a drain pump issue which may of blown something on the PCB or door lock or motor.Without testing it is hard to help you honestly. If you don't have test meter and some electrical knowledge it is going to cost you to get repaired. If it is PCB I would suggest buying a new one as they cost 50% plus of the cost of a new machine without some one fitting them for you and if a fault is still present after fitting the new one it will blow that one up Too!
