Water gushing from Zanussi Jetstream IZ 12?

As soon as I turn on my Zanussi Jetstream IZ 12, water gushes out in high volumes.
If I turn the machine off it stops immediately.
All I know is that the water is coming from underneath the appliance.
Any ideas anybody?

pull it out and take the top off.operate it and see where water is coming from
