grant euroflame utility oil boiler, fan has a slightly stiff section so motor wont turn fan.so boiler wont start until I reech in and turn fan manually to go past stiff section,how can I free this off,or do I need a new motor.

All turning parts have to be round to turn freely, obviously some parts are not, they were probably knocked or dented. You can remove the fan assembly so it will be easier to check and work with it and repair any dents that you can find. This should make it run freely again
