no hot water on demand worcester 24 cdi?

Hi when the hot water tap is turned on the boiler dosnt fire and the red light dosnt come on.. however when the heating is on there is plenty of hot water.. i think this maybe an electrical problem.. any ideas people .. many thanks in advance

Sounds like the diverter valve diaphragm has perished, can be a time consuming job and for cost wise you may be better calling Worcester Bosch for a one off fix, they carry all the relevant parts in van and fitted parts are guaranteed for 12 months.
