zanussi jetstream 1600 timer issues?

when my machine gets to the last minute or two it just keeps going through rinse and spin and doesn't finish. Is this the timer at fault? Can it be repaired? Many thanks

Don't put detergent in and try it.over sudding can cause this issue

make sure the drain hose isn't pushed to far down the waste pipe and also make sure it hasn't been extended
