Problem with a Cannon K38T Gas Fire?

I have had this fire for the best part of 20 years, everything still working except that......the logs have started to disintegrate and need replacing.
Have had no luck in trying to get replacement logs, inspite of sending off many enquiries. Does anyone know where I could get replacements, or is it possible to use any other configeration of coals/logs from other Cannon fires? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Cannon K38Tgas heater and want to know where I can buy a control unit to fit it?

Amazon in the UK sell replacement logs for gas fires - you can even get a bag of Mica chips to represent glowing embers - lumps of fake coal and pebbles too.

Some of it looks a bit expensive - expensive for what it is.

There's a shop near me that sells Gas Fires - I'm sure a shop of that sort in your area could get hold of what you want - use yellow pages - search for Fireplaces.

Good luck...
