Optima xm burglar alarm system ?

I recently fitted new carpet trims on my landing and snagged the alarm system wires setting it off (believe I shorted 2 wires on a nail hidden behind the door jamb) I can't stop or reset the alarm when I reconnect - thanks

You may have blown a fuse or caused a tamper

turn mains power off to the panel,check the fuses inside with a meter replace the blown one
