Are you in the Americas and using an European adaptor?
Is the adaptor a multi-voltage model?
Set the adaptor to the correct voltage: 120 / 240.

The power switch may be defective or broken.
Replace the power switch.

Does it work with the battery?
If yes, it's possible that you have a problem with the power connector of the computer. It can be fixed, but it's delicate work.

If it don't power up with a fully charged battery or when using the adaptor, it can be some fatal problem with the motherboard.
CAN'T be fixed! You need a new motherboard or a new computer.

Please, don't double post.
