B&Q / Mac Allister 1800w Double Bevel Slide Mitre Saw ?

Model: COD250DLSM

Like an idiot, I lent this to a supposed friend who has returned it in a, let's just politely say 'less than original condition' :-(
So, I'm looking to replace the RedEye laser unit (I am led to believe that the laser unit is identical across several other Mac Allister models too) and possibly the base casting too.
Mind you, if anyone has a deceased example of this saw (bad bearing or dead motor etc), then I'd be happy to purchase with a view to stripping for the bits I need :-)
