Recently got the radio and is not working, when plugged in the screen backlight comes on but nothing else happens, no text or anything and radio does not work. Thanks.
I have exactly the same issue caused by plugging in the incorrect power supply i.e. exposed to reverse polarity. Trouble is, the PCB is a different layout to many of the Revival RD60 that I've seen on other sites. The PCB is a MP-V1.06. Does anyone know which caps and/or resistors are likely to be blown? Thanks

Check the Capacitor (larger of 2) for bulging/burn marks, check 8 pin IC TDA7231 for damage also resistors fro heat damage. All can be caused by momentary reverse polarity when fitting the battery
