Veritas Keypad dead on keys 4,5 & 6?

My Veritas 8 keypad has failed on buttons 4, 5 & 6. I have a replacement keypad from Texecom. How do I change the keypad without the alarm going off. My engineers number includes one of the numbers mentioned.
