My washing stopped half way through a wash but when I tried to put it back on the door wasn't locking and the door light would't come on. We have fitted a new door lock but still won't work and the light still doesn't come on what could be wrong it's a Zanussi FS1555W your help please, thanks

did the old door lock have a brown hot burn mark in the centre of it?.If so it may of damaged the main pcb
