No continuity across mains pins, how do I access wiring at irons to check for wire breakage ?

Please check on you tube as lots of videos on dismantling GHD. Although it could be the cable it could also be a R8/R11 resistor which needs replacing, if you can use a multimeter and soldering iron it is worth checking these.
