There is no power to my Abel alarm since we had the consumer unit trip the other day !! the alarm rang for a minute & then died , then After putting the power back on , there is no power to it ?? any help appreciated . thanks

Hi , cheers for the reply . not sure on the model as upon further inspection , it has an abel box outside , texecom unit and a veritas r8 keypad ! i replaced the battery as you suggested but the alarm wont reset ?? The unset light is flashing & no matter what code i put in , it wont reset ??

Backup battery fooked.

You could contact Abel and book a visit or replace the battery and test the system yourself but you must isolate mains power for the control panel before you remove the cover.

What make/model is the alarm in question?.
