check for leaks underneath the machine, there is a drip dray fixed to the bottom and there is a float switch inside, if any of the pipes are leaking and there is water in the tray the white polystyrene float is lifted and cuts the machine out and causes the FA code to come up. I manage to fix mine with a car radiator hose for £8 in a car spares shop. The service company wanted £120 for a new pump assembly.
