Need to loosen using an allen key and don't know what size key. As the ones I have tried don't fit

Find an allen key that fits.

Ask a friend or neighbour - buy a set from a store or on line.

It may be that you have an Imperial set and need Metric - or vice versa.

People here can not supply the right sized key.
