My vw touran 1.9 Diesel engine has gone and I got quote for 1100 to fix it is this right price to get it fixed?

I take it that is the price for a 2nd hand used engine fitted? Modern 2nd hand diesels can get very expensive when you consider one injector alone can be hundreds of pounds,you alone will have to decide if you are getting a good deal,if not then shop around,good luck.
