oil burner starts then stops wont start agail till cooled down?

Our firebird popular 90 oil burner stars up then after a few minutes stops and i cant get it to start again until it cools down then i can get it to start but again it stops

Yes i think it is the water pump anyone know where i could get a second hand one or a reconditioned one in Dublin

Have you considered that it's cutting out because the water is becoming too hot for safety? If the pump is defective and not moving the heated water around the system then the symptoms you describe would match the pump not working.
