The steam buggy leaks steam through the water fill cap?

When the steam buggy is hot and a steaming steam begins leaking from the water fill cap. What type of o-ring can I use for the cap?

I have that very same problem and can't seem to solve it. I've tried multiple different gaskets and it still leaks. Any ideas would help. Thank you.
