Whirlpool dishwasher ADP905 stopped part way through a wash cycle ?

The dishwasher stopped part way througha wash cycle, not sure of it was draining or still washing. Water was still in the bottom. Lights up and all that but it will not start.
I've drained the water and checked for blockages, none could be found, only parts i havent pulled apart yet is the main pump and heating section as I don't have hose clamps to put it back together.
Possible fixes please, computer boards look good, no shorting out i can see and all wiring looks in good nick.

There's a clue - it's not draining - perhaps there's an issue with the drain pump?

It's not unusual for crud to jam up the drain pump impeller - you can get access to it from inside the washing chamber - right at the bottom of the sump - a single Torx screw holds down the cover over it.

Good Luck..., July 2016
