My mercedes c220 cdi w203 model .2003?will not start?

My merc was going well, until I disconnected the
battery cables in april 2016. Away on holiday I came back connected the cables , started the car no problem. After about 3 minutes it switched off until today. There is no power going into the computer box. The engine turns but will not start.Why ?. Please help.
