I have a Russell Hobbs 18087 Blender, unresponsive, motor tests fine?

I have a Russell Hobbs 18087 Blender, this has been working fine, today it is totally unresponsive, the switch with three options works on none of the positions. The motor appears to be OK. Any ideas?

For safety reasons all these machines have an interlock arrangement to prevent operation unless they're fully assembled.

Usually a piece of the bowl presses down on a small pimple switch - sometimes the piece of the bowl gets broken off and the interlock switch is not operated.

You might be able to operate the interlock switch by hand - a blunt pencil perhaps and then you'll know.

Good Luck..., July 2016
