Hugin Sweda 2810 - draw will not open. ?

We have a Hugin Sweda 2810 cash register. The power is on, but we can't do anything to make the draw pop open. If you hit the No Sale key instead of opening it give you the E (Error) sign. How do we get this drawer to open on this register?
