My electric grill on my dual fuel cooker tripped the other night, when I reset the trip switch the grill is not working has anybody got any ideas please

My idea is this - the heating element failed permanently and catastrophically causing a trip on the distribution board / consumer unit.

Consequently your grill is defective - the heating element no longer works.

You can repair it yourself if you have the confidence or have an engineer call to do it for you.
