Error e4 on a baumatic dishwasher. His can it be fixed?

Yes, do a Google search for the fault and the make/model and you will find plenty of advice.

I did one search you could have done, for "e4 baumatic dishwasher" and got this:

A word of caution - it is worth reading all the way to the end as some of the "cures" are useless. Read down and you should understand why.
