Beeping noise on my Hotpoint ultimate fridge freezer FFA97?

We have just plugged it in after being in storage for 18 months , it is cold and the freezer seems to be working but we are getting an intermediate beeping noise? So we do not want to fill until we know what it is, , or is this the problem?
