I have had a SONY hi-fi (Separates) for a few years now and it's the best i've ever had, apart from the fact that the display on the amp, which tells you CD track no.s, radio stations, alarm/sleep times, etc... has totally vanished. Looking inside the device didn't give any clues as to the problem. Anyone any ideas as to which component needs replacing? Maybe a diagram?

needs a new backlight bulb. simple fix but usually very hard to access so take it to a tech.
