Alarm problem on my renault megane?

HI all
Got a 2008 Renault Megane mk2 convertible. I laid the car up for a while and disconnected the battery. Long story short, I charged up the battery and put it back on and now the alarm keeps firing off and the hazards flash. Strange thing is the car starts up and drives. Can any body help me with this problem please?

Interestingly the bonnet sensor is mentioned in almost every thread. Check the rubber boot is OK. If it's not, probably best to replace the sensor or maybe try a lump of rubber stuck to the bit of bonnet that presses on the sensor.
