MODEL # :LAT9306AAM SERIAL #: 11219693QY?

My maytag washer fills up with water but won't wash or spin, what is wrong with it and how can I resolve this problem. I've already changed the timer and no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think a bad lid switch would stop your washer from washing or draining.
