How do I find the key code for my second Hand Rover 214?

I have recently acquired a rover 214, mannual locking, but the immobiliser has kicked in after doing some work under the bonnet - not the engine. Any ideas on how to reset it please?

go to nearest rover dealer with proof of ownership and they will give you the manual 4 digit code for disarming the immobiliser
