Our Bosch KSV 3122 fridge freezer (common compressor) has stopped cooling (although the compressor still makes a running sound albeit louder than before). Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks Pete. The problem was intermittent, then stopped working altogether for a few days. However seems to be working OK now (without having done anything) - however I fully expect it to stop working again. If/when it does I'll try switching it off for a few hours.

What does one do if it is loss of refrigerant gas, or blocked drier or capillary tube? As the appliance hasn't been damaged in any way I would suspect a blockage or some sort which comes and goes...

Maybe loss of refrigerant gas, or possibly a blocked drier or capillary tube.
Try turning power off for a couple of hours, then restart and see if that helps.
