i found my turntable was making a noise. I removed the turntable and cannot see where the belt is to go. the belt seems quite longer then the distance from the rotating spindle at the edge which i guess the belt goes round and the centre of the turntable so i am guessing this must go elsewhere as well.

A picture would help me as well if possible
