How to fix an Accenta alarm with no power to the keypad?

accenta 6 alarm system?

Hi there.I have an accenta 6 alarm system which has always worked fine and never been a problem.I had to switch off the mains to the house to do some work, but since switching the power back on the panel with all the numbers on to set and unset the alarm has no power to it at all,the siren box on the outside of the house still has the red led flashing from one side to another as it always has.And the main power control unit still has the red light on to show that their is power to the unit, just wondering if anyone had any ideas,thanks...

you need a full power down - ie.

switch off mains
open lid to main panel
take away one battery lead
switch mains back on
put in code
put back battery clip
close lid
press reset
the end

I also had that problem, did all of the above and still nothing at the keypad. The numbered buttons are all lit, but the Day & Power lights are not on. Help!!!

Remember having a problem like this on a keypad, and it was caused by a tamper fault to the keypad or main panel. This cuts off communication to keypad until rectified - not possotive but worth a try.

The is a common problem with the ribbon in some ADE remote keypads.
