pilot light going off occationally.heating and hot water working normally when the pilot ligt is onn.I had cleaned the burner,etc but problom is still there.I have noticed the fan is not running while the supply is on.question is that fan run continuously or when heating or hot water on? where is the fault?

not thermocouple but fan resistor. this keeps fan running at low speed all the time. when it fails pilot light overheats water in heat exchanger and overheat knocks out pilot interupter.
It is underneath combustion chamber right hand side, one of the wires has prob fallen of Danger 240v
