i bought an astra and im stuck in safe mode on the radio cassette i done have the code to get out of it any ideas ? it was the stereo that came with the car from new

1. switch on ignition - not necessary to start car!!

2. Press AND HOLD "AS" button
3. Whilst STILL PRESSING "AS" button turn radio on
4. Wait till beep is heard
5. Should then show "----" on screen - release "AS" button and enter code as normal
i,VE DONE ALL OF THIS & EVEN DISCONECTED THE CAR BATTERY TO SEE IF THIS RESETS THE RADIO STILL STUCK ON SAFE CAN ANY ONE HELP
