I have a General Electric cordless phone Model #26943GE2-A. (900MHZ) The LCD Display is very faded. Can I adjust this somehow? Lost the users manual.

I don't know if this might help. I have a Panasonic 5.8 cordless phone. The lcd screen had no display. I got 2 helpful sites-http://www.instructables.com/id/Repair-a-Malfunctioning-LCD/,http://www.saab9-5.com/howto/sidrepair.htm. on the 2nd link scroll down until you see the ribbon. My phone had the zebra type ribbon. Once I follow these links the lcd screen displayed. Good luck.
