I have lifted the handle on my UPVC door in the normal fashion to lift the locking points up but the handle then went floppy !! The key will still turn in the lock but the locking points will not move down which means I cannot open the door (window access only) I have taken off the plates but the barrel is fixed in position - is there anyway I can release the locking points without calling a lochsmith HELP !!!!

sounds like the internal workings have broken in the main lock you need an expert
